Coaches play a crucial role in Netball and have significant influence on the participants they coach, helping them to reach their full potential. They are responsible for training athletes and providing them with the skills and competencies necessary through structured, enjoyable and safe practices.  Kent netball are committed to supporting netball coaches active in our schools and clubs.  

 

Coaching Bursaries

 

• Kent Netball, England Netball Level 1 (or 2 or 3) coaching course Grant

• Kent Netball supports their members by providing England Netball Level 1 (or 2 or 3) coaching course subsidies to help develop coaches across the County. Full eligibility criteria and terms and conditions can be found on the application form here.

• The Kent County Council Coach Scholarship Scheme

• Kent Sport provide funding for coach/official development.  The scheme aims to increase the quantity and quality of coaches and officials in Kent.  Applications are welcomed from clubs, organisations and Governing Body representatives to nominate individual coaches or officials  Please visit Kent Sport for more information and the application form.

Kent Netball's Coaching Network

As part of Kent Netball's ongoing commitment to supporting the development of netball coaches across the county, if you are a coach, or considering becoming a coach we would like to invite you to join our network so that we can contact you when opportunities for development become available. This is to ensure we don't pester people with information that is not relevant to them. If you would like to receive details about upcoming opportunities such as workshops, courses or events, please provide us with your name and email address here.

 

Kent Netball Coaches Pinboard.

To get the ball rolling (pardon the pun) went have created a Kent Netball coaches 'pinboard', a place where you can get and post ideas for your coaching. You can access this by clicking here.  It is enormously easy to use (both to see the peoples ideas and to post your own) and you do not require any kind of account to read and/or contribute. Feel free to post ideas for what you would like to see offered by Kent Netball and to ask questions!
